      Flies expressing argos::spiA4S6A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF show severe disruptions in the size and shape of the eye, and there is a loss of cone cells and pigment cells. Overexpression of argos::spiA4S6A.Scer\UAS in the wing using Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in the loss of wing veins.
