Yp1 sequences from -322bp to +58bp (relative to the Yp1 transcription start site), which include the fat-body-specific enhancer (FBE), drive expression of a lacZ reporter. 3' untranslated sequences from Hsp70 are fused downstream of the lacZ coding region.
