      Expression of theEcollacZkni.Ψ construct, is extended more posteriorly and extends in agradient from the anterior to the posterior, reaching the posterior pole of theembryo. The "weak" bcd binding sites are replaced with "strong" binding sitesin this construct compared to the endogenous sites.
