Expression of NFLN.Scer\UAS in the eye under the control of Scer\GAL4LL54 induces an excess of interommatidial pigment cells.

When expression is driven by Scer\GAL4da.G32, embryos develop a crinkled dorsal epidermis and, occasionally, a dorsal hole.
