Description

0.9kb of eve promoter and the eve transcriptional and translational start sites are fused in frame to lacZ after eve amino acid 22. Sequences from upstream of the eve transcription unit (-5.5 to -11.0kb relative to the transcription start site) are fused upstream of the eve promoter sequences.
