Flies expressing bl^Scer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 show loss of wing structures, such as a reduction in intervein tissue between veins 3 and 4 and the absence of the crossvein. Extensive cell death is seen in the wing imaginal disc in larvae expressing bl^Scer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1.
