Reference

Flies carrying one copy of bl^GMR.PC have normal eyes. Flies carrying two copies of bl^GMR.PC are reduced in size and highly disorganised. The interommatidial bristles are mislocated. Eye imaginal discs of animals carrying two copies of bl^GMR.PC show a significant increase in the amount of cell death posterior to the morphogenetic furrow, while wild-type discs have very few apoptotic cells.
