Description

Deletion of about 150bp of Ecol\lacZMef2.-5990:-5180 sequence downstream of the minimal cardial cell enhancer (-5907/-5670) to produce a -5990 to -5322 bp fragment of the Mef2 5' region. This is fused upstream of a minimal heat shock promoter driving lacZ expression.
