At 36 or 38oC, ovr1/Df(1)HF396 hemizygotes typically stand motionless, and only infrequently walk a short distance (typically 2-3 body lengths), in contrast to wild-type flies which typically exhibit fast, uninterrupted walking and a generally high level of activity under these conditions. 50% of ovr1 flies show paralysis after 22.04 +/- 0.85 minutes at 38oC.
Selected as: a modifier of the comt1 paralytic phenotype.
