Description

UAS sequences regulate expression of fng in which the N-terminal 39 amino acids are replaced with the Tag:SS(aos) signal sequence. In addition the coding sequence is tagged at the C-terminal end with three copies of Tag:MYC.

      When argos::fngSP.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC is driven by Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 very little effect is seen in the eye. When driven by Scer\GAL4ey.PH a phenotype is seen, but much less severe than the one seen with fngScer\UAS.M.T:Hsap\MYC.
