      Expression of Pchs.T:Ecol\lexA using a series of heat shocks administered during the late third instar larvae and first two days of pupation results in reduced eye pigmentation in wEcol\lexA.110 or wEcol\lexA.310 flies. Expression of Pchs.T:Ecol\lexA using a series of heat shocks administered to late third instar larvae and pupae leads to partial silencing of wEcol\lexA.BHL4, resulting in reduced eye pigmentation.
