      Flies expressing Mmus\Tak1K63W.GMR display a rough eye phenotype in a dose dependant manner. In the pupal eye disc, bristles are mislocalised - about 1/3 are located on the posterior end of each ommatidium, (as opposed to the anterior in wild-type) or occasionally to the middle. The cell shapes of secondary and tertiary pigment cells are also heterogeneous.
