UAS sequences drive a cDNA that consists of the CRD domain of fz and the transmembrane and C terminal domains of fz2. This has been tagged with Tag:MYC in the non-conserved region in between the CRD and the transmembrane domains.

      When fz::fz21-2-2.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC is expressed by Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1, no change in polarity is seen in wing hairs flanking the expression domain.

      Expression of fz::fz21-2-2.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC driven by Scer\GAL4ap-md544 leads to generally malformed often unfolded wings. The anterior margin in these malformed wings show the presence of additional ectopic bristles on the dorsal surface, near the margin. Their polarity appears normal. Expression of fz::fz21-2-2.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC driven by Scer\GAL4Dll-md23 leads to a loss of the dorsally derived claws.
