      86.2% viable in combination with Df(3L)7C. 99.8% of spermatids in the testes of fwd4/Df(3L)7C males are defective, being derived from one or more defective meiotic and/or mitotic divisions. Spermatids with 4 nuclei per mitochondrial derivative are often seen, and spermatids with 2, 3, 6, 8, 12 or 16 nuclei per mitochondrial derivative are also sometimes seen.
