      Expression of the P{EP} insertions in the "EP566" line (this line contains 2 insertions P{EP}EP566aEP566a and P{EP}EP566bEP566b) under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-537.4 results in the loss of several scutellar macrochaetae. Sensory organs with one socket, no shaft and one sheath cell and dot-like shaft morphology are seen.
