UASt sequences drive expression of a fusion between the en repressor domain (aa 1-298) and the C terminus of onecut (aa 730-1081) including the cut domain and homeodomain. This is tagged with three copies of the Tag:HA tag.

      When en::onecutDN.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 is driven in the eye by Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, a dramatic reduction of the adult eye is seen giving it a rough, glossy, and flattened appearance. Support cells and pigment cells remain. The retina does not fully extend, the optic lobes are reduced in size.
