      Expression of gsbΔH.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH results in a headless phenotype. Two classes of phenotype are seen; class III consists of eyeless animals with large parts of the head missing but one or both antennae present and class IV consists of animals in which most of the head and one or both eyes of reduced size are present.
