      Expression of ftzhs.PL using heat shock during larval development has no effect on antennal development. Expression of ftzhs.PL using heat shock at 5.5 hours after egg laying has no effect on cuticle development. Expression of ftzhs.PL at the blastoderm stage results in the deletion of odd-numbered parasegments.
