Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Expression of two copies of beat-IcScer\UAS.cPa under the control of two copies of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu results in defects in ISNb development. Many of the defective ISNb axons tangle and stall as they enter their target muscle field. The RP3 motorneuron stalls in 23% of cases, whereas the RP1 motorneuron only stalls in 5% of cases. The phenotype is dose sensitive. Increased stalling and ectopic exploration of the ventral muscle surfaces by the transverse nerve is also seen in these embryos.
