      Heterozygous males and females show increased longevity compared to sibling controls. Heterozygotes have an increased AMP:ATP ratio and an increased ADP:ATP ratio compared to controls.

      Homozygous animals die at the L1 and L2 larval stages without any visible defects - homozygous L3 larvae are not observed.
