Genomic DNA containing the dap gene and about 1.5kb of 5' upstream sequence (from -1611) is followed by the 3' region of the dap cDNA and tagged with 6 copies of the Tag:MYC tag used to replace a NotI/Xho site at position 2954 within the 3' region.
