EcoRI-NcoI restriction fragment
Comment:

The EcoRI-NcoI fragment rescues the lethality caused by the P{lacW}Cask03902 insertion; position of restriction fragment on reference sequence inferred by FlyBase curator.

Comments

The lethality caused by the P{lacW}Cask03902 insertion is due to its effect on Cas and not mdy; the lethality is rescued by Cas+tTa, which contains the entire Cas gene but lacks the mdy transcription start site and sequences encoding the N-terminal half of the mdy protein.
