Description

7kb SalI-HindIII genomic fragment containing ovo in which ovo nucleotides 3666-5338 have been replaced with the ovo cDNA sequences. The resulting construct lacks ovo intron IIb sequences. In addition, the ovo open reading frame is tagged at the C-terminal end (two codons upstream of the stop codon) with lacZ.
