      When clones expressing biScer\UAS.cLa are made (driven by Scer\GAL4Ubx.PdC) in the anterior segmental compartment in the adult abdomen, hairs are seen pointing to the centre of the clone leading to reversed polarity behind the clone. When these clones are made (driven by Scer\GAL4Ubx.PdC) in the middle and back of the anterior compartment, abnormal cutilcle is seen with reduced pigmentation.
