eye, with Scer\GAL4ey.PH
Clones in the developing optic lobe which are expressing ey1-545.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:en-Rep under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 show altered migration compared to wild type; the mutant clones form columns of cells in the late third larval instar (as occurs in wild type), but by mid-pupation, the mutant clones form clumps of cells. Clusters of cells significantly larger than in wild-type clones can still be seen in adult brains, and this accumulation of clustered cells disrupts the normal layering of the medulla. The mutant clones are rounder than wild-type clones at the early pupal stage with many cells proliferating.
Expression of ey1-545.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:en-Rep under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH results in a reduction in eye size. Expression of ey1-545.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:en-Rep under the control of Scer\GAL4OK107 results in a disrupted ellipsoid body in the adult brain.
Scer\GAL4ey-OK107, ey1-545.enRD.UAS.Tag:MYC has adult optic lobe | somatic clone | pupal stage phenotype, suppressible by shgR69
Clones in the developing optic lobe expressing ey1-545.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:en-Rep under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 which are also mutant for shgR69 form clumps of cells at a much lower frequency than clones expressing ey1-545.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC,T:en-Rep under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 in an otherwise wild-type background.
