Description

Contains an inversely repeated 642bp of w genomic sequences separated by 218bp of non-repeated spacer sequence. The repeated sequence corresponds to the 3' part of the fourth exon (179bp) up to the 5' part of the sixth exon (49bp) which contains 360nbp of exon sequences. These sequences are driven by UAS sequences.

      When wdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cNa is driven by Scer\GAL4T80 flies have yellow or orange eyes. A >90% reduction in eye pigment production is seen.
