Description

An internal deletion in P{UAS-Star.G} fuses a truncated S ORF to the w ORF, out of frame. The predicted product, still under the control of UAS regulatory sequences, is a S protein lacking the C-terminal 17 amino acids, fused to 36 aa encoded by the out of frame w sequence.

      SNeo2.Scer\UAS/SNeo2.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096/Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 flies have small blistered wings with thickened veins and strong disruption of wing margin structures. This phenotype is weaker than that seen in SNeo1.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 flies.
