The defects in taste bristles on the leg, labellum and anterior wing margin seen in Poxn^ΔM22-B5 flies are rescued if the flies are carrying both Poxn^EvK and Poxn^L1. The leg and antenna segmentation defects seen in Poxn^ΔM22-B5 flies are rescued if the flies are carrying both Poxn^EvK and Poxn^L1. The defects in the posterior lobe and penis seen in Poxn^ΔM22-B5 males are rescued if the flies are carrying both Poxn^EvK and Poxn^L1 and male fertility is also rescued. The flying capability of Poxn^ΔM22-B5 flies is not rescued if the flies are also carrying both Poxn^EvK and Poxn^L1. The courting defects (in both daylight and red light conditions) of Poxn^ΔM22-B5 males are rescued if the flies are carrying both Poxn^EvK and Poxn^L1.
