Description

A 500bp eve 3+7 minimal stripe enhancer (MSE) followed by a 300bp spacer followed by the eve 2 MSE is fused upstream of a minimal eve promoter driving expression of lacZ. There is a deletion within the eve 2 MSE sequences which removes 78bp between the gt 1 and bcd 2 protein binding sites.
