Btau\msrAScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP; Scer\GAL4elav-C155 and Btau\msrAScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP; Scer\GAL4hs.PB-Ubi, but not Btau\msrAScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP; Scer\GAL4GMR.PF flies live significantly longer than wild-type controls. Btau\msrAScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP; Scer\GAL4elav-C155 have increased resistance to paraquat compared to wild-type controls. Btau\msrAScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP; Scer\GAL4elav-C155 animals have a later onset of sensence-induced decrease in physical activity compared to wild-type animals, and continue to produce near peak levels of progeny at an age when wild-type animals produce very few. At 4-5 days old Btau\msrAScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP; Scer\GAL4elav-C155 flies copulate, on average, more frequently than wild-type flies.
