Description

Hsp26 promoter sequences from -1917 to +632 are fused upstream of lacZ. Hsp26 sequences from -134 to -85 (a 50bp (CT)n region) have been replaced by a fragment of the same length containing 3 continuous (CT)n repeats, two of which form a 27bp long mirror repeat.
