      Reference

      Strong expression was observed in the anterior-most regions of the ovaries and testes. In females, expression is highest at the anterior tip of the germarium, was reduced in the middle and returned in germ cell cysts in the posterior region of the germarium. In males, expression is highest in the germline stem cells.
