Description

Gene conversion using Abd-BFab7-2.tHa.scs-min as a donor template, which results in the endogenous Fab-7 sequences being replaced with those in Abd-BFab7-2.tHa.scs-min (producing a chromosome with the Fab-72 deletion with scsmin inserted upstream of it).

Gene conversion due to excision of P{bluetail}Abd-Bblt (carried over Fab-71 to avoid conversion with the homologue) using Abd-BFab7-2.tHa.scs-min as an ectopic template, has produced a chromosome containing the Fab-72 deletion with scsmin inserted 140bp from it.
