      Animals expressing lunaScer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 are either unable to hatch or die at the first larval instar. Expression of lunaScer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in a rough eye phenotype characterised by the loss of sensory bristles. Photoreceptor cells are missing.
