Detailed Description

Reference

Testes from mutant males exhibit a reduced number and size of cystic bulges and waste bags. Defects are also seen in the movement of investment cones, which normally move tailwards in a co-ordinated fashion. In mutant cysts, spermatids fail to separate from each other and contain excess cytoplasm, often including an enlarged minor mitochondrial derivative.
