A 1.9kb genomic fragment that includes the autoregulatory socket enhancer (ASE) of Su(H) is fused upstream of a minimal Hsp70 promoter driving expression of DsRed(T4) that is tagged at the C-terminal end with a nuclear localisation signal (Tag:NLS(tra)).
