Expression of vnΔEGF.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL469B at 29oC results in partial loss of wing vein L4. Co-expression of vnΔEGF.Scer\UAS suppresses the extra wing vein phenotype caused by expression of vnScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL469B. The wing phenotype seen in adults expressing vnΔIg.Scer\UAS (from a weaker P{UAS-vn.ΔIg} insertion line) under the control of Scer\GAL469B are rescued by co-expression of vnΔEGF.Scer\UAS. Co-expression of vnΔEGF.Scer\UAS in animals expressing vnΔMR93-213.Scer\UAS (from a weak P{UAS-vn.ΔMR93-213} insertion line) under the control of Scer\GAL471B results in more animals surviving to adulthood and a reduction in the extra wing vein phenotype seen in these animals. The extra wing vein phenotype caused by expression of vnΔMR395-476.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL469B is suppressed by co-expression of vnΔEGF.Scer\UAS. The extra wing vein phenotype caused by expression of vnΔMR177-395.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL469B is not suppressed by co-expression of vnΔEGF.Scer\UAS.
