      The basal rate of fluid transport in Malpighian tubules expressing forP2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4c42 is not significantly different from that of control Malpighian tubules. However, upon stimulation by cGMP or capa protein, Malpighian tubules expressing forP2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4c42 show significantly elevated fluid transport rates compared to control Malpighian tubules.
