Gr68adsRNA.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4Gr68a.PB males show a significant reduction in mating performance both with regard to the fraction of nonmaters and the increase in latency time. This phenotype is significantly more severe in 11-17 day old males than 4-7 day old males. As with Ctet\TeTxLCTNT.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4Gr68a.PB males mating initiation is slightly increased in these flies, but the time spent on later courtship steps (wing extension/vibration and attempted copulation) are significantly decreased.
