      Expression of DoaEY11301 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in substantial ommatidial fusion and disorganisation. Small holes are seen in the surface of the ommatidia at high magnification. No abnormal phenotypes are seen when DoaEY11301 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32.

      Expression of DoaEY11301 under the control of Scer\GAL4Lsp2.PH results in total male lethality, regardless of the direction of the cross.
