      Tmcf01875 homozygous and Tmc1/Tmcf01875 mutant adult females have a significant increase in preference for softer 100 mM sucrose-containing agarose for egg laying, compared to controls.

      Relative to wild-type controls the Tmcf01875 mutant adults show significantly weaker preference for less solid sucrose-agarose food than a harder one (higher agarose conc., same sucrose content) one in a two-way food choice assay.
