When bi^{N+T+C.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC} is driven by Scer\GAL4^dpp.blk1, a severe reduction in eye size or the complete loss of retinal tissue is seen. When bi^{N+T+C.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC} is driven by Scer\GAL4^dpp.blk1, a loss of the arista is seen. When bi^{N+T+C.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC} is driven by Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF ommatidial development is impaired.
