The few Rrp4^c00021/Rrp4^e00463 adult escapers show ectopic and broken wing veins. In the eye, the lamina is severely disorganized with cartridges lacking appropriate photoreceptor structure and outlines. In muscles, Z lines are disrupted, sarcomeres are shorter, and there is an increase in mitochondrial area.

Clonal Rrp4^c00021/Rrp4^c00021 eyes are small and glossy.
