      When expression of Mdoa\dsxF1.Scer\UAS is driven by Scer\GAL4hs.PB in D.melanogaster males, there is no sign of sex reversal at the morphological level, even when exposed to multiple heat pulses during development. These males do however produce vitellogenin, indicating that Mdoa\dsxF1.Scer\UAS can overrule repression of yolk protein genes by endogenous male-specific transcripts.
