      Expression of Gprk1hs.PL using heat shock does not appear to affect the morphology of the photoreceptor cells. Flies expressing Gprk1hs.PL using heat shock show a pronounced decrease in the amplitude of the electroretinogram (ERG) compared to wild type, but there is no apparent effect on the termination of the photoresponse.
