      mahe03587 homozygous adults are viable but display gross locomotion defects.

      mahe03587 heterozygous adults show hyperaggressive behavior - in the same genotype fights the flies display decrease in the latency to lunge and increase in the total number of lunges compared to controls. In a competitive advantage assay against wild-type flies, the mahe03587 heterozygotes win significantly more fights than wild-type.
