      Expression of Tcas\ftzAAAA.Scer\UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS, does not e affect cuticle formation in the embryo. Expression of Tcas\ftzAAAA.Scer\UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4Dll-md23, causes the homeotic transformation of the arista into tarsal segments 3-5. However, antennal segment 3 does not show leg-like identity.
