      Expression of one copy of the fz57.αTub84B transgene partially rescues the cuticle phenotype of fzGL31, fz2e2 embryos. However, denticles are present in regions that should be entirely naked and some denticle belts are fused. The mutant lethality is not rescued. fzGL31, fz2e2 clones in the wing are partially rescued by expression of fz57.αTub84B, but still show subtle defects in the spacing of the margin bristles.
