Axonal projection of eye photoreceptor cells in the optic lobes is normal in late third instar Sema-1aΔcyto.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC; Scer\GAL4elav-C155 larva, but when the driver Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is used instead, the organisation of R1-6 growth cones in the lamina plexus is disrupted in a manner very similar to that seen in Sema-1ak13702 homozygotes.
