      Expression of SPEdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI does not cause lethality at room temperature but results in few viable progeny at 29oC.

      The rate of lethality after infection with the Gram-positive bacteria E. faecalis is increased in flies expressing SPEdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI), reaching 80% lethality at 10 hours after infection, compared to wild type flies where the lethal rate is 20%.
